NAMI Albuquerque Hosts Community Resource Fair

NAMI Albuquerque is hosting a community resource fair on April 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held at 5000 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Visitors can explore a mobile workshop featuring hands-on simulations and virtual reality activities designed to introduce careers in fields such as welding, construction, and truck driving.

In addition to the workshop sessions hosted by Be Pro Be Proud, other vendors and community organizations will provide information and resources on topics including employment, mental health, and housing. Among the participating organizations are ACS, America's Job Center, Animal Humane NM, APS-McKinney Vento, Associated Building Contractors NM, CNM Ingenuity, Common Spirits St. Joseph Children, Department of Workforce Solutions, Faith Works Counseling, Heading Home-JobConnect Program, HopeWorks, HUMANA, MCH Family Outreach, National Alliance of Mental Illness, Native Professional Advancement Center, NMDOH, Planned Parenthood of Rocky Mountains, Presbyterian Health Plan, Rio Grande Food Project, Roadrunner Food Bank, State of the Heart Recovery, and United Way 211.

The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to visit the fair to learn about the various resources and career opportunities available.
