Power Equipment moves HQ to Brighton, creates 70-80 jobs
BRIGHTON, Colo. — The Brighton Economic Development Corporation welcomed Power Equipment Company to the community. The company has moved its headquarters from Denver to Brighton and now occupies a 52,000-square-foot building on a 19-acre site at 1575 Co Rd 27.
Power Equipment Company, started in 1936 in Grand Junction, provides heavy equipment sales and rental solutions for owners and operators in the aggregate, construction, crane and paving and compaction industries in the Rocky Mountain region. The company will create between 70 and 80 jobs in Brighton with strong wages and has invested a considerable amount of money into its Brighton site.
Through this move, PECO consolidated its Denver, Greeley and Henderson locations while maintaining seven other branches across Colorado. In addition to Colorado, the company has locations in Casper, Wyoming; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Aztec, New Mexico; and Kansas City, Missouri. As a result of this growth, the company is now one of the top three revenue generators in its industry in Colorado, according to the Brighton Economic Development Corporation.
