Richard “Bucky” Reed, known as Emperor II of the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire, played a significant role in founding The Center and was a lifelong advocate for the Colorado LGBTQ+ community. Reed attended nearly 100 meetings that helped lay the foundation and infrastructure for the organization. His life and contributions will be celebrated at a fundraiser event on March 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Trade on Colfax.
