Economic Summit Set for December 5, 2024

The Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Chamber Economic Summit on December 5, 2024, at the Rocky Mount Event Center. The event will take place from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The presenting sponsor is PNC Bank, while the host sponsor is the Rocky Mount Event Center.
Featured speakers include Dr. Jeff Cox from the North Carolina Community College System, Dr. Mouchine Guettabi from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Honorable Sandy Roberson from the City of Rocky Mount, and Bethany Greene from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The event will be moderated by Kenneth Hunter, also from the City of Rocky Mount.
Ticket prices are set at $60 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online through the Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce website. The event aims to provide insights into the local economy and highlight future opportunities for businesses and communities.
Several sponsors are supporting the summit, including Carrolton of Nash, Brightspeed, Cummins, First Carolina Bank, Bodie-Noell Enterprises, Inc., Southern Bank, Davenport Autopark, and Nextera Energy.

Brighton police to host Cops and Bobbers fishing event
