The Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Economic Summit featuring Dr. Jeff Cox, the President of the North Carolina Community College System. The event, sponsored by PNC Bank and held at the Rocky Mount Event Center, will highlight the significant role of higher education institutions in creating opportunities for residents.

Dr. Cox will discuss how community colleges are essential for transforming lives, enhancing workforce readiness, and promoting economic growth in North Carolina. He has nearly ten years of leadership experience at Wilkes Community College and is recognized as an Aspen Institute Presidential Fellow.
