Lackawanna County Emergency in Scranton, Pennsylvania, has issued a report on the return of freezing weather this weekend. The forecast provides a minimum wind chill forecast for several locations from Friday, February 6 through Monday, February 9.

The forecast includes specific wind chill temperatures for Boonville, Rome, Baldwinsville, North Syracuse, Utica, and Canastota. For example, in Boonville the wind chill at 12 p.m. on Friday is forecast at 12°F, dropping to -18°F by 12 a.m. on Saturday. In Rome, the wind chill is forecast to be 16°F at 12 p.m. on Friday, with a drop to -13°F by 12 a.m. on Saturday. Baldwinsville shows a forecast of 16°F at 12 p.m. on Friday and -13°F by 12 a.m. on Saturday. North Syracuse has a forecast of 16°F at 12 p.m. on Friday and -19°F by 12 a.m. on Saturday. Utica is forecast at 18°F at 12 p.m. on Friday and -10°F by 12 a.m. on Saturday. Finally, Canastota is forecasted to have a wind chill of 9°F at 12 p.m. on Friday and -19°F by 12 a.m. on Saturday.

Auburn burglary suspect arrested; shoes recovered
